Razor-sharp and indispensable
Global phishing and awareness campaign for Victorinox
Hardly any other company stands for Swiss precision and engineering as much as Victorinox, the manufacturer of the Swiss Army Knife from the canton of Schwyz. High standards are not only set when it comes to design and production, but also in terms of cyber security.
Human firewall as protection against hackers
Victorinox employs over 2,000 people worldwide at its headquarters and in 12 country offices. Each of them can make a contribution to cyber protection if the danger is recognized early and acted upon accordingly. terreActive was selected for project preparation and support.
Even before a first hacker alert was triggered, Victorinox decided to act and further increase its security posture. This was done by conducting a phishing simulation and awareness training.
Victorinox's cyber defense concept was based on two sub-areas:
- The phishing simulationpart, in which fake e-mails were sent around the world in eight languages, aimed to find out how well users could already recognize threats such as fake URLs or dangerous e-mail attachments.
- The second part of the project involved global awareness training. terreActive proposed training sessions to Victorinox, which Lucy Security offers as an e-learning program for companies.
